These carbon fibre sheets & plates are manufactured by Juno Composites using our proprietary α-FAB liquid moulding technology. Unlike traditional composite manufacturing techniques, α-FAB is an innovative process that increases productivity, delivers higher quality, improves mechanical performance, and reduces unit costs for the customer. The result is a superior carbon fibre laminate that outperforms conventional autoclave and standard resin infusion methods.

Built from multiple layers of 600gsm 12×12 twill carbon fibre fabric that reinforces a bio-based epoxy resin system, these sheets & plates deliver outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, stiffness, and long-term durability under load. All our materials are void-free, dimensionally stable, and manufactured under our ISO 9001-certified quality management system.

Designed for demanding engineering applications, these carbon fibre sheets & plates can be CNC machined into complex components or used directly as structural panels in motorsport, aerospace, marine, and industrial projects.

Why choose orthogonal plates?
Orthogonal laminates are a great choice where loads are primarily aligned to two main directions (typically 0°/90°). This makes them especially suitable for flat structural panels, load-bearing inserts, tooling, and CNC-machined plates where predictable stiffness and strength are required along the principal axes.

Need multi-directional performance instead?
If your part sees significant loads from multiple directions — for example complex brackets, joints, or panels with off-axis loading — consider our Quasi-Isotropic laminate option for more balanced in-plane properties. See: Quasi-Isotropic Carbon Fibre Sheets & Plates.

Surface Finish Classes:
These laminates are structural-grade, not cosmetic. Surfaces are defined by function, not appearance:
– Class A  Smooth, glossy, nearly flawless finish for visually demanding applications
– Class B  Peel ply, bonding-ready textured face
– Class C  Moulded smooth tool surface that may be glossy or satin finish (not cosmetic, may have scratches)
– Class D  Smooth textured face, hygienic and washable

See our Surface Finish FAQ for full details.

Note: For all finishes, where UV exposure is present, surfaces should be protected with a suitable UV-stable coating.
